7. Zusammenfassung
Der Aufsatz behandelt ein Beispiel institutionellen Wandels
im Zuge sozialökonomischer Entwicklung, nämlich
die Mensch-Boden-Beziehungen in Asien während verschiedener
historischer Perioden. Indien und Korea werden als empirische
Beispiele herangezogen.
gelegt. Wenn man nicht Zeitperioden, sondern Entwicklungsstadien
miteinander vergleicht, bestehen zwischen Ländern bemerkenswerte
Gemeinsamkeiten.
Summary
The paper deals with changes in land tenure institutions
in the wake of socio- economic development by analysing
the man-land relations in Asia, during different periods
of history. India and Korea are taken as empirical examples.
The main emphasis is on the varying role of agriculture
in society, the social, economic and political goals the
land tenure has to support, the forces initiating changes
and the actual tenure arrangements. There are common features,
if one compares the stages of development in different countries
and not time periods.
